We are those girls who decided that a podcast was the best way to communicate to others about how it feels like to experience what it’s like to be a 20 something navigating “life”. Even with all the unknown and confused moments, we want to highlight the struggles and the achievements in the day to day in an authentic and genuine way. We are right in the trenches with you all

Diving into Vulnerability
Tuesday Oct 01, 2019
Tuesday Oct 01, 2019
Vulnerability. Roll your eyes all you want, but you know you have been avoiding it like the plague. In this podcast, we are breaking down not only the fact that you should be vulnerable but how and what does that look like in your relationships whether that’s with your go-to people, your close friends, or even your acquaintances. We share how sometimes vulnerability can look like splashing around in a kiddie pool, or it looks like jumping into the ocean amongst the unknown. Either way, we dive into our own experiences of vulnerability and address how we have been becoming a little more vulnerable with a “mature” twist. Tune in and see if you might need a little more vulnerability in your life!

Long Distance Friendships Ft. Taylor Daimwood
Tuesday Sep 24, 2019
Tuesday Sep 24, 2019
Long distance friendships are TOUGH. Nothing sucks more than not being able to spend time with your friends while they live across the country. So we decided to bring our own best friend, Taylor Daimwood, all the way from North Carolina to talk about our own long distance friendship. Even after spending time apart on 3 different continents, we maintained a consistent and strong friendship. How did we do it? Well we can say it takes a lot of intentionality, communication, and our favorite app, Marco Polo. #notanAd

Self-Care O’Clock
Tuesday Sep 17, 2019
Tuesday Sep 17, 2019
All right, we all know that everyone thinks about self-care as a nice bubble bath, a bougie face mask, and a nice glass of wine...we love that for us. However, we also know that there are a million and one ways to self-care and today we are having a nice, little, light-hearted conversation about what that looks like! We discuss our (somewhat) embarrassing past of what we thought was self-care which definitely includes us exposing ourselves as true tumblr girls. But (thankfully), we also redeem ourselves by talking about the road to our healthier self-care routines that we have now and continue to develop. We’re so excited to share our tips and tricks so tune in and see if you could use a self-care day!

To Compare or Not to Compare?
Tuesday Sep 10, 2019
Tuesday Sep 10, 2019
Compare (v.): to estimate, measure, or note the similarity or dissimilarity between. Raise your hand if you have ever felt personally attacked by this verb. Us too! It is so easy to fall victim to comparison whether that’s with friends, family, coworkers, finances, uncontrollable situations, or anything else in between. We get it and we’re here to talk about it.
In this podcast, we are discussing comparison in all aspects from our ideas on comparison, to where we find ourselves comparing right now, and how comparison has overall affected us. We also can't have this conversation without talking about social media and its role in it. So stay tuned to hear our tips and tricks on how to reduce your thoughts on comparison!

Boundaries in Friendships
Tuesday Sep 03, 2019
Tuesday Sep 03, 2019
Boundaries are not just for relationships!
In today’s podcast, we are talking about setting boundaries in friendships. We know that setting boundaries can be difficult and saying “no” is not in most people’s friendship vocabulary. So we are sitting down and discussing what that looks like and how we have navigated our own boundaries within our friendships and friendships around us. We also discuss what it looks like to rezone the boundaries you have made for yourself and whether or not they need to be pushed a little.
Tune in and see if you have some boundaries to set!

Under (Spoken) Pressure
Tuesday Aug 27, 2019
Tuesday Aug 27, 2019
We’re talking about unspoken pressures, an idea that you feel the pressure to stay the same way, act in the same manner, or do and say the same thing as people have always perceived you. Yeah, we know you already feel your chest tightening up a bit. But not to worry (at least not a lot) because we’re diving into how we feel the need to play into that role to keep the peace and why that might just be affecting the way you live your life.
We also touch on what it would look like to shake it up and how your family, friends, and coworkers might respond. Tune in and see if you’re feeling a little…under pressure.

We’ve Been Bamboozled!
Tuesday Aug 27, 2019
Tuesday Aug 27, 2019
Our first episode of the Mature Podcast serves as an introduction to us, Tiffani and McKenna, a background of our friendship and what our listeners can expect for our new podcast!
In the episode, we take a blast to the past, four years ago, and reveal our (highly naïve) expectations for college and what we were convinced post-graduation would look like. We then fast forward to where we are now as we catch up to the new realities of everyday life that definitely doesn’t include a bougie LA loft or a dream job that just so happens to be in the middle of Georgia.
Today we sit down and expose the hard truths of post-grad life that no one seems to be talking about and yet everyone is going through. Time to see if you’ve been bamboozled too!
